Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:21 to 2:33 pm and there were eight seals seen during that time.
On LPB were the Moms and Pups as usual.
RH76 Kala and her pup PO11 were on the back Lanikai side of the beach. The pup was mostly hidden behind mom, but she eventually did see PO11.
RL12 Aukai and PO12 were in the middle of LPB near the waterline. PO12 was mostly hidden behind mom, until shortly before Marilyn left. RL12 entered the water and PO12 followed.
Again near the 2BS was weaner RU24: weaner size, shape and coloration and two red tags. He did show his sandy male belly for a very short time.
Near the 3BS was a seal labeled as an Adult Female: smaller adult size, old coat, two red tags and a yellowish-tan female belly. The AF was initially near the waterline. The A/F did move up into the dunes near the 3BS. Then later the A/F returned down to the waterline. She may have a scar on her lower lip.
Near the SRI channel were two seals:
Juvenile Female: juvenile size, two red tags, light female belly.
Near and sometime touching the J/F was weaner RU38: weaner size, shape and coloration, two red tags and a sandy female belly.
Team R&B only find today were the dynamic duo, loving green couple, RH48 Lei Ola and RH32 Kaale. Thankfully there weren't as many people out and about as in the days before. They seemed a lot more relaxed.
They didn't find any other seals and called it a day to spend some family time.
