Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:33 to 2:30 pm and there were five seals seen during that time.

Both Moms and Pups were on LPB.

RH76 Kala and her male pup PO11 were closer to the Lanikai side of LPB. PO11 was nursing when Marilyn started viewing. Later mom and pup moved further up the beach. PO!1 is six weeks old today. Kala still seems to be in good shape.

RL12 Aukai and her male PO12 were neared the middle of LPB, but still fairly close to Kala and pup. PO12 mostly snoozed during my viewing. Later Aukai moved up the beach and more in the 1BS direction. Aukai is looking okay but getting thin.

At 1:45 pm an Unknown Sub-adult hauled out near the 3BS. The U/S moved up and down the beach several times and went into snooze mode. The U/S seemed to be smelling the sand when it hauled out. The U/S was sub-adult size, had an older coat and it dark sand-covered belly did not allow Marilyn to determine its sex.

The Masked Booby chick is growing and seen near one of the parents at all times.

Tammy had some free time today so she went to check on the weaners at Ka'ena. She got lucky finding cousins RU56 and RU40 together playing in the shallows. She watched with delight for over 2 hours.

At some point when they were playing RU04 swam past them and hauled out.  Seeing three weaners on the same day made for a great day.

Team R&B were happy to see a seal hauled up on the rocks at Kahe. After hauling up the seal went into snooze mode. They ID'd RL20 Kalua who is looking quite green. He was alone today.

While there they got to see the dolphins put on a great show. Everyone there was in awe and they could hear people from the water yelling in excitement.

They left Kahe and headed over to plains, but were told they had just missed a seal that had been there. They waited  for a bit but no other seals showed up.
