July 2, 2025 Wednesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 11:48 am to 2:32 pm and there were six seals seen during that time.
Both Moms and Pups were near each other at the top of LPB surge channel. The pups were mostly hidden behind the moms for the first part of Marilyn's viewing. At 1:18 pm, Marilyn noticed that Mom & Pup 2 had gone into the water. They hauled out again at 2:13 pm and moved up the far side of Mom & Pup 1. Marilyn couldn't be certain which mom was which. It certainly would be easier if one of the moms had an applied bleach or if they weren't so close together.
Weaner RU24 was between 1BS and 2BS, closer to the 2BS. He moved up and down the shore several
time. He did show off his male belly.
Weaner RU38 was in the Middle Cliff area. She also moved up and down several times as well. She also show her belly which confirmed her ID.

Team R&B headed over to plains to check. Sure enough luck was with them and they saw RH48 Lei Ola and once again in the company of a male. This appears to be the same Unknown Male, with no tags or distinguishable markings.

Meanwhile over at cliffs they spotted a very unique surfer dude. All while there was a fairy tern escaping with a fish.
They spotted a seal cruising the area and it turned out to be R3CX Nalu.

Lastly they stopped at yoks, noticing there were signs. Signs were up but no seals, so they returned the signs to the lifeguards.
Then they ended their day watching a pod of dolphins going for broke. For over an hour they were out there jumping and doing what they do best having fun!
