July 16, 2025 Wednesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Team R&B💕  Marilyn did not make it to the pier today.

Team R&B headed over to white plains where RH48 Lei Ola was alone today.  She was resting and continuing her molt.  They couldn't determine how far along she was, mostly because she was very sandy.  

They made their way back to the west side to check their usual spots.

Finally they spotted a seal on shore. They stopped at yoks and discovered RW02 PvKauai was resting. There were no signs just RW02 alone on shore.

Lastly they spotted two seals at another west side beach.  They got to the site and the two seals were resting but there were no signs. They first ID'd the male as RN04 Kainoa. The female was so sandy and green, that it took them a while to ID.  By process of elimination they knew Lei Ola is at plains molting, Kala is still on Rabbit Island with her pup, hmmm maybe its RL70 Leina.

Well she was very cooperative showing her tags L70 and they confirmed the ID.  She looks like she might be ready to molt soon.
