4-25-11 Our Blog Has Found A New Fan

Aloha Good People!!  One of the favorite things about the blog is when someone new finds us, gets excited and wants to contribute.  Deanna and her husband made the Ka'ena Point trek on Sunday and found these critters... ( we probably need the whisperer for a for sure ID)...  Anyway, seems Deanna is a dive teacher and often sees our critters in the water... (of course I asked for pics)...  she spoke with Dera and got some good information AND will be now teaching her scuba students about our endangered Hawaiian monk seals.  Thank you Deanna, and I look forward to hearing from you.... and seeing some underwater shots. ~donna~ da blog lady  Okay DB do your magic!

First and most importantly, Thank You Deanna for the trek, and the shots. Ya' Done Good !! In order of there appearance on da' blog my finding are: 1. Ka'ena (foreground) and Kerby, 2. Kerby, 3,4&5 RI37, 6. Kerby, 7.Ka'ena, 8.RI37, 9.Kerby, 10.Ka'ena

In the case of RI37 (N29) it's a no brainer. The other IDs are based more on what Deanna described more than the photos.

I thought that yesterday's U/U was probably Kerby (with Ka'ena), and todays sighting would tend to support that.
