From Makai Pier at 0740 I could see two partially visible bodies, amongst the Morning Glory near 3BS. One was a small, female belly, and the other unknown. When I got back to MP at 0940, both were still there, and finally at 1024 the larger animal began to move down to the water front to cool off. It took a bit of waiting , but it proved to be R301. His mid body dorsal pit scar , and natural bleach just behind the pit, were clearly visible.
At 1133 the little body began to stir, and started to move down. The familiar "scoot" told me it was RB08 again today. Both animals remained near the water line about 10-15 ft apart for the rest of the day.
Team Billand scoured the SW quadrant again today, and reported Irma on the town side of the left end perimeter fence at White Plains at 1032, and called again at 1051 to report Kermit on the west side of the Nimitz Beach jetty. Aloha, DB
