11-15-2012 DB's Dailies: Irma@MB, Aukai,Kaiwi&Kolohe@RI, Kermit@KoOlina

At 0620 I found Irma (R010) waiting for me right where I'd left her last night. I redid the cordon, and she has remained the rest of the day.Teri called at 1736 to advise that Irma had departed. Saint that she is, she even brought the stuff up with her. Teri, you are worth many times your weight in IPAs !!

At 0951 I found Kaiwi (RK96) and Kolohe (RW22) at Seal Rock Inlet, on Rabbit Island.

At 1039 I suddenly became aware that there had been a 3rd animal there all along. It was Aukai (RL12). I simply hadn't seen her until the lighting allowed. As you've all heard so often "I thought it was a rock".

At 0957 Cianna called with the report of an animal at Lagoon #3, KoOlina. Diga would come through with shots from her friend , Jan confirming that it was Kermit (R012) in the company of a few of the adoring hordes. Sue & Sam also spent time with Kermit, and provided photos. Team Billand checked him in the afternoon, and noted a new wound on his upper lip. Just what the boy needs...another scar. Dana reported that Kermit departed at 1805.
The hunt was on for R5AY, on the North Shore. She has apparently picked up a hook, She was seen in the Turtle Bay area, according to reports through the day, but as far as I know at this writing, had never hauled out. Thanks to all that trudged the mileage looking for her, and to the tank team, ready and waiting.

Diane Pike sent photos of Buster (RV08), on Molokai again today.

Zeeny sent shots from her trek to Ka'ena Point yesterday. She found Kerby (RW08), a molting Ka'ena (RO40) and R912 and daughter RL42 together.
