7-15-2014 DB's Dailies: Buster@BH&SB, Aukai@SC, Kaiwi@KK, Kainoa@RI, Makaiwi@Makaha, RIP&M&M@WP, Benny & Pohaku@Maili Beach Park, RL42 @Makua Cliffs

At 0638 I found Buster (RV08) doing 7 minute dives. He would make 3 separate attempts to haul out to Sandy Beach, though the day, each being thwarted by the adoring hordes. Finally at 1455 he gave up on the east end and settled for hauling out to the Blowhole end of Sandy Beach. I cordoned him off and he remains. I picked up the stuff at 2000. Buster remains. Now its just an office report and the dailies, and the day will be pau.

 At 0815 Gayle called with the report of an animal doing 6 minute dives at Spitting Cave. We both put in much time trying to ID the animal. It was not until both of us had a chance to look at our shots, did we confirm the Aukai (RL12) ID.

 At 1044 posse member Linda called with the report of an animal at the Kokee Flats. At 1053 I confirmed the Kaiwi (RK96) ID.

 At 1217 I found Kainoa (RN04) at 3BS on Rabbit Island.

 At 0706 Team Billand reported Makaiwi (R4DF) at Makaha. She would depart at 1324.

 At 0956 the Billands responded to a call about an animal at the Makaha Surf condos. The animal was in the water when they arrived. They suspected it might be R912 foraging off shore.

 At 1022 the Billands reported RIP (RR70) & M&M (R020) fronting #1707/08, White Plains .

 At 1022 Team Billand reported Benny (RE74) & Pohaku (RO28) at Maili Beach Park.

 At 1324 the Billands found RL42 at Makua Cliffs.
