3-19-2014 Lesley's North Shore Update:

It was a seal of a day with lots of hiking and driving

It started early leaving the house at dawn to make it to Sunset with out getting to much traffic. There I picked up 2 friends visiting from Brazil and we headed to Ka'ena Pt.
We were at "10 Minutes Beach" when Kimo Lyman called saying he was looking at a big female / not tagged on Birth Beach / Mokuleia. Photos and outreach confirmed R303 "BG" (by scar on left side mid body)

At Ka'ena Point we saw RO40 "Ka'ena" on the Runway, RW02 "Kauai PV" and RW30 Molokai girl @ the entrance of the Main Pool, then leaving a freshly hauled out RL42 @ Ka'ena's Pool.

We had the pleasure of meeting Vera C out at the point

Crossed North Shore to TBR
There RK82 "La'akea" was @ Right Spots spot (from now on to be called "La'akea's Spot"). Apparently she had entered the water after some visitors may have gotten to close to her. But hauled out again just beside her SPZ - so I rearranged the signs.

R016 "right Spot" was between the river/bridge and the Keiki Pool. She looks BEAUTIFUL, nice and round.

RF20 "Meli" was hauled out on Elbow Beach sleeping peacefully.  Aloha, Lesley
