Dailies from Sunday June 21, 2026

Sunday's Dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:02 to 3:00 pm and there were six seals seen during that time.
Out on the rock flats on the Lanikai side of LPB, Marilyn saw one of the weaner males and later saw both male weaners. They didn't give her much to go on. When they were together they werre in the channel in shallow water and appeared to be playing with each other.
Marilyn briefly saw RM26 Nohea in the middle cliff area. Later she saw PO10 nearby, but thinks mom was then hidden behind the
waterfront rocks.
Then she saw a seal that she believes to be RV50 female weaner, on the Makapuu side of middle cliff main beach. Later she hauled out between the 3BS and SRI. Weaner size, light female belly and three red tags.
Between Middle Cliff and the 3BS was a juvenile female RU38 hauled out among waterfront rocks: very green, female belly and two red tags.

Team R&B had a short day since it was father's day and were
attending a family luncheon. However they still went out to check a few spots. At the pup site, PO11 was on shore with momma Rocky nursing. It was a long nursing session followed by a snooze.  After the snooze they went for a quick swim and then back to shore.

The only other seal they saw was Miss Huaka'i KG89. She was on shore with a zone set up for her. She is looking good, decent weight and getting green. One wonders where she pupped and if the pup is okay.  Just one of those things we may never know.
