I absolutely HATE posting these shots....but I do think it's important for people to understand the seriousness of this... and understand WHY so many people do what they do for the seals. From DB's Dailies it was reported Tracy gave Maka'iwi some antibiotics today.... I hope they are super duper antibiotic because this poor girl is a mess.
Thank you to Team Billand and Ko'Olina Diane for submitting the pictures and having the courage to watch over her.... there's a special place in my heart for you.

Oh no, this is terrible. I do hope the antibiotics work. Were they able to make any kind of diagnosis. Poor baby, I'm so glad they are trying to help.
So glad to hear they were able to administer antibiotics. We have learned that monk seals have an amazing healing ability so I'm hopeful that will be the case. Heal quickly Maka'iwi!

I am so happy to hear that Makaiwi was given some antibiotics . I have been so worried and it is so hard to look at the pictures of her, but I really want to know. I'm not able to get the daily update until the next day since of the 6 hour time difference. I really love that she is being helped and love the updates,Kea really cracks me up.I would really love to be a part of this it is awesome what you guys do.
