Their first stop was at pokai where they found R3CX Nalu once again foraging. Later in the day when they went back to check on him he had landed. I know this made them very happy to see their boy hauled out so they could get a good look at him.
Next they spent a significant amount of time watching the multiple seals foraging. They did their best to get their IDs. They were able to ID: Lei Ola RH48, RL08, Aukai RL12, and one unknown adult.
After being so busy studying the foraging seals by the outfall, they later found R617. He was alone and doing just fine on the rocks.
They spotted a seal at electric beach. They were over the moon to see it was RP30 Puka hauling up on shore. Of course there were plenty of fans down on the beach, some got too close.
Three hours of searching for whales it paid off big time. They saw a young calf and to add to their glory the calf was breaching with mom.
