The day began with a quick trip to Sandy Beach at 0605 to
check on the possibility of Irma having remained. Thankfully, she was gone. I
picked up the stuff and continued the adventure.
It would be 0957 before a
critter entered my life, and that critter, once again, would be Irma (R010).
Ocean Safety called with the report of an animal just hauling out to the far
right side of Makapuu Beach. When I arrived at 1006 I found Irma. I cordoned her
off, and she has remained the rest of the day.
At 0930 Team Billand called
with the report of Kermit (R012) at Nimitz Cove, on the west side of the Nimitz
Jetty.
At 1059 they found Noa
(R6FI) at Maili Point.
At 1136 Benny (RE76) hauled
out at Maili Point, approximately 60 ft away from Noa.
Marilyn did the Ka'ena Point
trek today. She found Ka'ena (RO40), Kerby (RW08), 761 & R018 at the end of
the world.
