4-5-2012 DB Dailies: Irma@MB, RB00@Elec.Bch, RO28@PC, Benny&Noa@Maili Pt. RI37@Lani's, Rocky@Kahala, Kaiwi@DH

At 0610 I found Irma (R010) right where I'd left her last night at Makapuu Beach. She had obviously overnighted. I redid the cordon, and she snoozed away the rest of the day. She was the only SE quadrant find today. I picked up the rope at 1930. Irma remains.

At 0930 Team Billand reported RB00 at Electric Beach.

At 0944 they found Pohaku (RO28) on the reef at Paradise Cove. At 1125 with the rising tide she relocated to the beach. She departed at 1802.

At 1325 the Billands reported Benny (RE74) and Noa (R6FI) at Maili Point.

Dera called at 1155 with word of an U/U at Laniakea. Joy ID'd the animal as RI37. Photos on the way.

Dera advised that Eileen had called to report Kekoa (RK72) alone today at the Reef Runway, at 1454.

Dera called again at 1521 with the report of an U/U on the beach, 3 blocks west of the Kahala Hotel. Dera confirmed the Rocky (RH58) ID at 1600.

Dera saved the best for last. She called at 1834 to advise that she'd just returned from surfing "Cliffs" at Diamond Head, with her boyfriend Lars, her sister, and KAIWI!!!!!! She said Kaiwi hung around the break for a half hour or so.

 Well... I like looking at their faces when they are awake.... but sometimes I envy how soundly they sleep.
