I was on the road at 0530, my
first stop being Sandy Beach. I'm happy to report that Irma was no longer there.
I picked up the signs and continued on. Despite many a mile driven and trod, it
was a big ol' zero in the SE quadrant today.
Team Billand , however, had
one of their usual bumper crop days of critters. Ate 0820 they reported R018
alone at Maili Point.
At 0834 they reported that
Noa (R6FI) had hauled out to Maili Point.
At 0902 RIP (RR70) arrived at
Maili Point, and as is usually the case, he and Benny had words.
At 1345 Team Billand advised
that Kerby (RW08) had joined the Maili Point gang, making for another 5 critter
day at that location.
At 1425 Team Billand reported
RB00 at Electric Beach.
At 1448
they found Kermit (R012), fronting #1708, White Plains.
Dana called at 1200 with the report from Capt. Scott
Sundby of Shaka Kayaks of an animal at Kawela Bay. Scott photos confirm T21M.
The Star Advertiser reported another Monk Seal killed
on Kauai on Sunday. RA16, a male, was born at
Larsen's in 2009.
T21M at Kawela Bay (thank you Scott)

Thank goodness Irma left. I was worried after reading DB's comments about her being there for so many days. (Lauray)
