11/20/2010 DB Dailies

I was at Makapuu at 0545, dark and early, and found that Irma was gone. I picked up the stuff and continued the adventure. Despite lots of looking, today's Irma Quest was a bust.

At 0712 , from the Makapuu Overview (MO), I found Duke up in the grass at Seal Rock Inlet on Rabbit Island. He would later move down allowing the ID, and remained there all day.

At 0733 , from Makai Pier I found Sam tucked into the base of the cliff at the left end of the island. He would later move down, allowing the ID, and he too remained all day.

When I got back to Makai Pier at 0903, I found that Kolohe and Buster had joined the cast. They were together at Seal Rock Inlet, where they remained all day. The was no observed interaction.

Team Billand reported RO28 at Maili Pt., at 0724. Her CC wound seems to be healing rapidly.

At 0906 they found Kermit at Kermit's Reef, on the west side of the Nimitz jetty.

At 1535 they arrived at White Plains to find Benny on the beach. Their surfer posse had told them that he had departed this morning at 0600 of his own volition. It sounded like the usual WP hassles.

At 1001 Dera called with the report of and U/U at Shark's Cove. Dana called at 1046 with confirmation of the RI37 ID. Awaiting photos. She had last been seen once again at Shark's Cove, on 10-27-10. It sounded like the place was a zoofest of idiots. Thank you to all my fellow Privates on the front line of the Monk Seal Wars.

Another Dera call at 1224 advised of an animal at the Mokes in Kailua. A 1237 Dera call confirmed the Right Spot ID.

Marilyn did the Ka'ena Point trek, and found Ka'ena at the end of the world at 0922.
