Just a quick update on Makaiwi. She is still on the Big Island and has spent the last several days feeding north of Kailua. But for Halloween she took a quick trip to South Point.

Thank you Dr. Charles for the update. Do you think we can call into her and tell her to come home now. No, really do we know if anyone on the Big Island has spotted her?

Wow,look at this kid, Makaiwi, traveling so far, visiting each Island. I appreciate her travel maps DOC!!! Its truly incredible the journey she is on. Is she looking for a home? Is she just getting familiar with each island, looking for all the good spots with food,places to hide out from humans? She stayed on Oahu the longest..in my heart, I hope we meet her again, miss her alot.I feel so proud of her, she is a smart cookie and a brave soul, so young, all by herself,exploring Hawaii. Maybe she is a daughter of Kermit. He been doing a lot of travel himself. He moves on for over a month,then reappears out of no where...and its so incredibly THRILLING to find him back. He looks great, just a bit more stream lined than before. Again, thanks DOC for keeping us guys informed...YOU DA BESTEST!!!!
