Though it would take many hours to actually get all the necessary ID's , the summary of the day's Rabbit Island cast was Ewa Girl in the company of RIP at the far left end of the beach, with M&M and M38 a short distance to the right . This marks M&M's first return to Rabbit Island since weaning Mikala. It was also interesting in that both of this year's Moms were on Rabbit Island with their off spring at the other end of the beach. Ewa Girl has begun her post weaning molt. It has been 47 days since she weaned Duke.

I had first seen both the weaners at 0849. What would prove to be Mikala was floating in a tide pool to the right of 3BS, and Duke was at the far right end of the beach, visible only from the Makapuu Overview. Mikala would haul out to the water front rocks and become fully visible at 1105, and Duke would relocate to right end of the beach at 1254. Once they became aware of one another both began moving toward one another, finally making contact at 1307. They played and cavorted in the shallows with a general drift to the left, and finally hauled out together at the middle of the Middle Cliff at 1353, where they remained for the rest of the day.
