DB Post Saturday8/8/09

The Rabbit Island cast was looking pretty sparce in the morning. It was Ewa Girl and RIP at the left end until mid day. Thankfully, Mikala hauled her chubby bod out of the water to the right of the 3BS at 1207. Shortly thereafter Buster showed up further to the right. Once he spied Mikala he galumphed her way. She didn't seem particularly glad to have the attention, and didn't hesitate to snap at Buster. She would beginning galumphing off to the left and away from Buster, who did not follow, but chose instead to reenter and swim off toward the left end of the beach.

At 1406 he hauled out to join RIP and Ewa Girl. RIP wasn't goin' for that at all. He immediately charged and ran Buster back into the water.

While that was going on, Mikala, and Duke connected in the shallows fronting the 3BS, and hauled out together at 1406. Buster stopped off to join them on his way back from his RIP experience, and interacted with both weaners, but there was nothing heavy duty about the meeting. All were snoozin' when I departed the pier at 1530.

Barbara Billand and the Johnson Team did the Ka'ena Point trek today. Barbara called at 0812 to report Ka'ena and Benny, and then called again at 0858 to report BG and Yoda.
