DB Post Wednesday May 7th

Ewa Girl & Pup, RIP, Sadie & RB08@ Rabbit Island, 5-7-08
Ewa Girl & child did 4 water sessions, followed by feeds. All sessions were off shore of Left Point Beach (LPB), in the backwash , white water zone. Watching the swims from the Makapuu Overview (MO), allows me to see that Ewa Girl is intentionally doing these sessions in the backwash zone. With a couple of flipper flaps she could be into the calmer water , but she chooses to do the sessions there, to give the kid a good work out. The pup handles with no problem whatsoever.

RIP was showing some curiosity with the kid, but Ewa Girl had no problem at all giving him "the eye" and a simple bark was all that was needed to send him hurrying off.

Both the girls were at RI today. Sadie spent the day at the right end of the island , and RB08 hauled out to the left end in the afternoon.

I recieved no other sighting calls today.
