Ewa Girl & pup (D#24) , RB08, and R301 were the RI cast today. I'd seen R301 earlier , cruising the beachfront at Sandy Beach (looking for Irma ?) , but he did not haul out.
The BIG news of the day began at 1028 with a call from Tracy, reporting R5AY and pup at an "Undisclosed Location on the North Shore". That is all I'm saying about that. If you want the location then call David Schofield (944-2269) and sign up for a shift as a volunteer. Initial info indicated that R5AY&pup were first seen between 0700 - 0800, yesterday, Monday, 5-12-08. The placenta was still attached. The other sighting came between 0800-0900, and the placenta was detached and at the location where I collected it. We got the cordon erected and the adventure begins. I started the trek home at 1800.
