September 7, 2025 Sunday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:33 to 2:19 pm and there were two seals seen during that time.
Initially down from the 3BS was a Juvenile Male: juvenile size, older coat with some green, male belly and two red tags. This seal entered the water at 12:38 om and Marilyn believes this is the same seal that hauled out between SRI and RRB at 1:00 pm. She wondered if this is RT19 who was seen on island last Wednesday.
At 1:27 pm, an Unknown Weaner hauled out on RRB: weaner size,
shape and coloration and two red tags: no info on sex and most likely one of the older weaners.
The Masked Booby chick was alone on the outer crater rim today.

Team R&B first stop at Pokai and found RH76 Kala. She was alone resting on the rocks. They wonder if she is going to molt soon.
Although Kala was the only seal, they did see another critter. The Boobie was sitting on the wall until someone chased it off. Then the it went to another spot and stayed there in peace.

At rest camp they spotted RH48 Lei Ola. There were lots of people out there today and Lei Ola was really far out.  With all the people out there, they did see an adorable little dog with its human on a surf board.

At tracks they found R604 once again. She was alone in the same spot.

Next they found RL20 Kalua at Kahe. He was resting on the rocks alone and then moved into the pond. They were happy to see him suspect he going to molt soon, since
he is sooooo green.

Lastly they headed out to White Plains and when they arrived they didn't see the seal. According to the lifeguards the seal had been there and moved three times. Then they spotted a seal on shore way down by the cabins and there were three ladies close by.  Team R&B hurried over and the lifeguard came with signs and ropes. Finally got to the seals and Team R&B ID'd RN14 Kalani pursuing the lovely KG89
Huakai.  The lifeguards put up the zone, the women left and the seals stayed.
Team R&B noted they hadn't seen a seal in this part of the beach for a long time, Not since the days of Kermit, Irma, R018, and Sharkbite use to sleep there at times, not to mention the legendary Rocky.
