7-8-11 DB Dailie

My first look at Rabbit Island was a bust, and when I got back to Makai Pier at 0815 I was still batting zero in the SE quadrant. Finally, on a pan at 0846 I found our chubby little girl, Nani just hauling out , 80 ft right of 3BS. She would remain there all day. She did a swim session from 1414 until 1450, but just remained in the shallows, and hauled out again to her same location.

On a pan at 1014 I found Sadie (RB12) just hauling out to the right side of Seal Rock Inlet. She too would remain there all day.  At 1125 she was joined by Kolohe (RW22). Though he was persistent Sadie just kept rolling away from him. All interactions were low key. They remained together the rest of the day.

Team Billand checked in at 0805 to advise that Benny (RE74) had done his 3rd overnighter fronting #1811 at NIM.  At 0901 they found Max (R5EW) at CIP, behind the Recycling Center. The also found an abandoned lay net nearby, which the destroyed and dumped. Ya' Done Good.... again !!!
