4-29-2013 Db's Dailies

At 0636 I found Kolohe (RW22) snoozin' in the Morning Glory fronting 1BS on Rabbit Island. He'd last been seen at Maili Pt, on 4-26-13. It's nice to have the boy back home.

At 0942 I found Duke (RA12) at the far left end of the beach. He would be joined by Kolohe at 0942.

At 0954 a new arrival would join, or attempt to join the other two. Kolohe and the new arrival had words, and both entered the water. The new arrival would turn out to be Buster (RV08). Kolohe would haul out at Rocky Right Beach, It took some time but I found Buster hiding behind rocks , still at the left end. He would later move into view and he and Duke cruised the rest of the day. Kolohe would rejoin them at 1348, and all was mellow.

Because the older critters are now hangin' out at the left end, little Kainoa has been moved out of that area. Yesterday, and again today he hauled out to 2BS, where he remained all day. Though the shots are horrible, I did manage to get a couple of belly shots showing a definite male belly.

At 0645 Kimo found Kaiwi (RK96) at Spitting Cave. Gayle reported her still there at 1130.
At 0712 the Billands found RIP (RR70) at Maili Point.

At 0813 they reported M&M (R020) at #1708, White Plains.

Dera called at 0901 with the report of R5AY at Punaluu. ID had been by tags.

At 0915 Team Billand found Kermit (R012) fronting #1945, Nimitz Cottages.

At 1253 the Billands found Benny (RE74) nearby RIP at Maili Point.

At 1422 they found Ewa Girl (RS00) at Wind Sock.

Lesley called at 1518 to advise that she and Diane had seen R5AY at Punaluu, and La'akea (RK82), near Marconi Rd, and Ua' Malie (RT10) at Turtle Bay.
