10-16-11 DB Dailies and More

The day had to come, and today was that day. We arrived at AD as usual at 0600, and after walking to the far end, we could find no Kaiwi. We patroled AD from the estuaries to the wall again, and then while Marilyn stayed at AD, joined by Gayle and Tammy, I walked the beach front to the west end of Irma's. On my way back I found Kaiwi (RK96), 100 ft east of the wall at AD. Basically that is right where we'd left her last night. She was well hidden in yet another nook in the shallows. All it took was a couple miles of walking to find out she was right where we'd left her.

She has remained at that location all day, either cruising in the tide pool or snoozin' on the water front rocks. Well... not quite all day. At 1600 she left her tide pool and began swimming near shore toward the east ,stopping to visit old haunt tide pools, moving back west a bit, and finally hauling out to her favorite grassy patch, 300 yds east of the AD wall. Thank you Zeenat and Patrick for following faithfully, and humping all the stuff back down there.

At 1013 I found Duke (RA12) and Buster (RV08) together, fronting 1BS on Rabbit Island. They remained there all day.

Team Billand called at 1049 to advise that Ewa Girl (RS00) at Kalaeloa Campgrounds. They checked in again with the biggy news of the day. After an 8 day absence, Irma (R010) showed up at Wind Sock in the SW Quadrant at 1430 . Her pupping adventure for this year has come full circle. Okay, Benny & Kermit... she's back !

Ooops ! Karen sent La'akea photos from TB today. I sent them out early, by accident.

Dana checked in at 1625 to advise that Right Spot had just hauled out to Right Spot's spot, where La'akea resides at the moment.
