6-8-11 DB Dailies

At 0631 I found M&M (R020) and Pup, on D#15, already down on the water front rocks, just left of Seal Rock Inlet. They would remain there all day, in their favorite tide pool.

At 1233 I became aware of a swimming head, patrolling back and forth from SRI to the left end of the beach. On 3 occasions the animal partially hauled out left of Mom and the kid, but never actually hauled out. On one of those partial haul outs , at 1326 I saw just enough of the ventral side to confirm that it was Buster (RV08). He would ultimately haul out 80 ft left of 1BS, at 1344, where he remained the rest of the day.

Team Billand checked in at 0733 to advise that they had found Makaiwi (R4DF) at Palm Grove, Campbell Industrial Park.

At 0910 the Billands advised that they had gotten a call from Dera about an U/U animal at Maili Cove. When they got there later in the day, the animal was gone, but signs remained.

On that same call Dera advise of an animal near Access #186D in Ewa Beach. Posse member Jan Dill would confirm the Max (R5EW) ID at 0951. The Billands would stop by later in the afternoon to confirm that Max was still there.

Dera called at 1153 to advise of an animal at the stables at Turtle Bay Hotel. It was beginning to look like there would be no response to that call, but Diane Gabriel and Karen Turner came through like the outstanding Posse People that they are, and confirmed the Right Spot (R016) ID at 1523.
