6-24-11 DB Dailies

I was out on my route when Dana called at 0637 to advise of an animal in Waikiki, at Lifeguard Stand 2F. When I arrived at 0652 I found Irma (R010)just to the west of the seawall. Per a witness, she hauled out at 0330. The cops had caution tape up, and I replaced that with the cordon. She departed of her own volition at 1050. Thank You to Karen and Diane, and Lesley who was on the way, when Irma left.

At 0825 I found Duke (RA12) at Spitting Cave, doing 6 minute dives.

When I got to Makai Pier for my first Rabbit Island look at 0930, I found M&M and Pup on D#31, fronting 3BS, Sadie (RB12), 45% molted left of 1BS, and RIP, 70 ft right of 3BS. All would remain all day.

Team Billand called at 0813 with the report of Max (R5EW) just hauling out between #1707 and #1708 at Whit Plains. He departed at 1725.

Rachel, Colleen's VP at Diamond Head, called at 1843 to advise that Rocky (RH58) was a few houses down. Photos confirm the Rocky ID.

At 1240 they found T21M just on the Kalaeloa Campground side of the west end White Plains perimeter fence.

Brenda Becker checked in at 1630, newly returned from her Ka'ena Point trek. She found 761 (her hook remains) , Ka'ena (RO40), Kerby (RW08), and Benny (RE74) at the end of the world.
