6-6-11 DB Dailies

At 0634, on my first look at Rabbit Island I found M&M (R020) and Pup, on D#13, high on the beach, above Seal Rock Inlet. They would later move down to the left side water front rocks, and remained there all day, until the rising tide required them to move up a bit. The pup spent the entire day on "the other side" of Mom, from my location. I got small glimpses of the kid during the day, and kinda'/sorta' observed 2 feeds. I relocated in the afternoon to MO, where I could verify that the kid was feeding.
When I got to Makai Pier at 0845 I found that RIP (RR70) was at the far left end of the beach. He would enter the water later, and haul out to M&M's location at 1149. M&M made it abundantly clear that she wasn't goin' for dat', and RIP galumphed off to a point 40 ft left of Mom and the kid.
Dana checked in at 0732 with the report of an U/U at Makaha. Team Billand would confirm the R2AW ID at 0825.
At 0837 the Billands found Pohaku (R028) at LahiLahi Pt, Makaha.
Dana called at 0854 to advise that Max (R5EW) was near access #186F, in Ewa Beach. Team Billand sent confirming photos.
At 1110 Dera called with a report from Jeannie Martinson of an animal at Rocky Point as of 0730. At 1343 Dera said that Jeannie said that it was "N6" (Right Spot/R016).
Team Billand checked in at 1350 to advise that they had found Makaiwi (R4DF) at Palm Grove, Campbell Industrial Park.

Is the mark on her back from cell tag or is that a cookie scar?

Hi, that is a cookie cutter shark bite on Makaiwi's back. Seems her cell tag has gone off with her molting. She is one pretty lady, quickly growing up. Remember when she was so small, kind of like Max???? Skinny and very green as well???? She is a princess!
