Despite lots of time and distance on the Irma quest, she never popped up today. At 0657 I found RM38 well to the right of 1BS. He has been on Molokai lately, so it was nice to see the boy back on Oahu. He would remain there all day.
When I got back to Makai Pier at 0947 I found that Kolohe and Buster were now close together fronting 1BS. They would remain there all day. There was no observed interaction.
At 1006 Duke hauled out at the right end of the beach. This marks his return from his Kahala resort adventure. It was of great comfort to see the boy back home again.
At 1034 RIP hauled out to join M38 to the right of 1BS. Ordinarily chaos would insue but today there was no interaction at all.
Team Billand reported Benny at White Plains at 0820, 2AW at Nimitz Beach at 0847, and Kermit at Kermit's Reef, on the west side of the Nimitz jetty at 1000. At 1403 they reported that Rocky had hauled out to join Kermit.
Keith Kenyon did the Ka'ena Point trek today, and found Ka'ena at the end of the world.
At 1626 Barbara reported R018 at Nimitz Beach.
As John Johnson and family were driving down the windward side the chanced to find a cordoned off animal at Kualoa Point. My dollar is on R5AY.
RIP & M38
Ka'ena at Ka'ena Point
