Okay back to our regularly scheduled dailies:
Team Billand went back to the outfall, and saw RN14 pass by posturing over the rocks to see if any critters were around. He ended up hauling up and stayed by himself for the day. Team Billand rechecked the area through out the day but only Kalani was there, even the fishermen were asking "Where's small fry" ?
Next stop for Team Billand they thought they saw Ka'ale but no, to their surprise the critter laying on the lower rocks was Lei Ola RH48. She's been MIA for a bit so it's good to see her. And yes that dam hook is still there. They checked on her throughout the day and she remained, she's looking green (not as green as Kaale) and a little small but still pretty sweet.
Team Billand's last find today was Kekoa Alii RK72 he was alone on the high rocks to the left. He seemed to have arrived after Lei Ola, as he was wet and her coat was really dry. Kekoa looks very comfortable on his "rock bed" stayed way up there all day.
It's not often I get to say this early in the year that we have photos and one video clip of PO3, PO4 and PO5. AND.... that PO4 & PO5 are at the same site, are cousins and their Mom's are sisters and both first time Moms !! ( I only wish DB was here for this). Thank you Melody for being patient and sending me your photos the weekend.
First up we have some very sweet pictures of Kaiwi and PO3 in the tide pool for seal survival training and then some playtime. After waiting for sometime they finally came out of the water and up on the sand and into the foliage. Secondly we have Luana RH58 and PO4 video as well as photos. And last but by no means least we have RL42 and PO5 .
