5/2012018 Yesterday's News: Lesley's Ka'ena Update

The island tilted yesterday the 6 Sealettes were out together to monitor KPt.
After checking on the kids at the playpen we headed out to the point.
I was able to do the NARS 1on1 outreach with our Sealtettes from Kauai & Molokai as well as talking to visitors and doing the road checks.

RN58 "Luana" & PO4  D21 were sleeping  on our first check and swimming before hauling out for a nursing session on our way back
RL42 "Leia" & PO5 D15 were swimming on the first check and swimming on the second.
I was told RN58 & PO4 did go back to the playpen but the sisters had a run in so they left back to their other corner.

At the point we found RO40 "Ka'ena" hauled out on some reefs and RR70 "RIP" on the side reefs of the Main Pool.
Both seals were called in to the Hotline.

Donna "Da Blog Lady" already wrote about our late afternoon and night - so I won't extend here.
