10/25/2015 DB's Dailies: Kolohe,Kainoa,Kea,Aukai&Cass@Rabbit Island, Kaiwi@China Walls, Benny@Maili Point, Nihoa@Shark's Cove, Holokai@Turtle Bay

At 0752 I found Kolohe (RW22) & Aukai (RL12) up in the Morning Glory, at the log, 40 ft left of 1BS, Rabbit Island. Both would later enter the water. I did not see Aukai again, but Kolohe would haul out the Seal Rock Inlet for the rest of the day.

At 0821 Kainoa (RN04) would haul out to 3BS where he remained the rest of the day.

At 1148 Kea (RN46) would haul out at Seal Rock Inlet to join Kolohe.

The highlight of the day came at 1217 when Cas (RG06) hauled out to Rocky Right Beach.

At 1250 Melanie called with the report of Kaiwi (RK96) at China Walls.

Team Billand found the Benny (RE74) at Maili Point, at 0734.

At 1403 posse member Paul Hasley called with the report of an animal at Shark’s Cove. His photos confirm Nihoa (R912).

Mail from Jon Gelman brought shots of Holokai (RG40) near the Keiki Pool. Additional mail from Karen Turner supported Jon’s report of the cordon not being in place after last night wedding , and lots of crap. People were in what had been the cordoned area. It sounded like a nightmare, but they did manage to get a cordon reestablished, I think.

Word from Jessica on yestereday’s Seal Count. 15 total. (See list).
