He had not been there on my 3 earlier passes, beginning at 0600, but on the 0900 check, there was Kea (RN46) once again, snoozin’ on the outfall, at the east end of Sandy Beach. He has remained all day. Kea departed at 1835.5-0 owned much of the SE Quadrant today, making the checks somewhat difficult to impossible to get to. Continuing road work in Portlock continues to make access to those spots a nightmare, to impossible. Malahos to Gayle & Cate for doing their best !!
On my 2nd look at Rabbit Island at 0930, I found my ol’ nemesis, the oft mentioned U/M, 80 ft right of 3BS. He remained all day, and is still an U/M with 2 red tags, a newish coat, and slick as a whistle with no visible markers at this distance. ??????????I got word via Brandi & Instagram (thanks Mark), that Rocky (RH58) had overnighted at Fort DeRussy. Instagram showed lots of Zombies taking overnight photos. I hear Todd also pulled an all nighter ! Colleen advised that she was still there at 0800, and notified me of Rocky’s departure at 0923. Thank you Rocky !!
Team Billand checked in at 1002 with word that U’ilani (RN36). Unfortunately, she was just departing as the Billands arrived.
