10/19/2015 DB's Dailies: Kea@Rabbit Island, Kolohe@Lanai Lookout, Rocky@Kaimana, RL42@Makua Cliffs, RIP@Maili Point, Luana@Ka'ena Point

On my 2nd Rabbit Island check I found what would prove to be Kea (RN46), barely visible behind the log, 40 ft left of 1BS. The most important part of the barely visible was the natural bleach visible draped over the log. Thankfully, he would later move down allowing a better view. He was the only non winged resident of RI today.

 At 1147 Gayle called with the report of Kolohe (RW22), just hauling out to the Lanai Lookout Flats. Thank you Gayle !!

 At DanaTxt at 0721 advised that Rocky (RH58) had apparently overnighted and remained at Kaimana Beach. No further word since that report.

 At 0911 Team Billand found RL42 at Makua Cliffs. At 1508 they called again with the report of RIP (RR70) at Maili Point.

 Tammy T., found Luana (RN58) at Ka’ena Point at 1142. It looks like the Menehunes have been at it again.

 Ocean Safety called with the report of an animal at the east end of Sandy Beach at 1627. When I arrived at 1650 posse member Jeff, advised that about a half hour again an animal had come...looked...&left the outfall area,never hauling out, and headed back toward the Half Point channel (westward). This is classic Buster behavior, but ???? I checked AD’s to Lanai Lookout (Kolohe was still there), but found nobody.
