August 9, 2025 Saturday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Team R&B💕  And they had a great seal day today!

They started their day at pokai where they found Kala RH76 resting.  Then they saw some movement and there was another seal behind her resting. It was RM31 Kai and all was peaceful.

Until another seal arrived, they noticed a bobbing head in the water. They ran over to find that big boy R3CX Nalu. He was on a mission. He galumphed to Kai RM31 who was snoozing. That is when the two got into an awful fight, biting each other, rolling in the pond, galumphing on the rocks. Then they both headed for Kala. She fought off both of them and went to the right.

RM31 Kai left, but was still in the area peaking over the rocks looking for Kala. He was shoved back up on the rocks by a huge wave. Nalu R3CX went after him again.

Team R&B didn't want to leave the area, in that there hadn't been this much action in a long time.

Next they saw a male and female from afar at tracks. They couldn't get to lot in that it was full and everyone was out with the big waves.  They thought the male had a cyst on his lower back which it could be RL08. The female was unknown, they know for sure it wasn't Kala or Aukai, maybe R604.

Team R&B made their way over to white plains where they found two seals. The female was ID'd as RL12 Aukai and the male was RG28 Lefty. Seems this is his first time at white plains. The surf was big and lots of people out and about. The lifeguards had their hands full and still managed to keep an eye out for the seals.

They made their way to their car when they noticed a commotion by the cabins. They saw a lifeguard flying by with signs in hand. So Team R&B went over and there was another seal. It turned out to be RW02 PvKauai. They believe this is his first visit to the area.

Team R&B were driving along by yoks when they saw a group of people gathering with cameras all

looking in the same direction. They thought it had to do with surfers with the huge waves, so they went to check it out. It was another seal!  It had a cc scar on left side near fore flipper so they knew it was R416.  All they people were good and stayed away. When he hauled in they heard some of people saying "he made it !!"
