Team R&B found a pair of seals on shore at tracks this morning.  They were resting together and the female was ID'd as R604 but couldn't tell who the male was.

They had an appointment today but later in the afternoon went back to check it out.  Thankfully the two seals were still there. They confirmed R604 ID with her many scars.

The male was new to Oahu from Kauai. R6FQ, this is their second encounter with him. He's a big male, cc scars on back, unique hind-flippers. They checked in with Lesley who has his characteristics documents. He seems to have a prop scar and they saw a red tag.

There were lots of people out along with six dogs. Four of the dogs were loose from the nearby camp.

When the small dog barked, R6FQ barked and moved up to R604. Thankfully there wasn't any contact at all.

That was it for seals for Team R&B. They did take some time to appreciate how beautiful the west side can be.
