August 5, 2025 Tuesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Team R&B💕

Their first find on the west side were two seals on upper rocks. They were both sleeping. One was RH76 Kala next to a big male that they couldn't see much for an ID. The male was reported as an unknown male.
Unfortunately another one of the encampment areas was burnt, but thankfully everyone got away safely.

Next they checked out guard rails where there were another two seals. The female was ID'd as R604 who is looking thin with lots of green. The male had a big cc scar on left
back, a possible scar on right side and natural bleach spot on left side of his head.  They just couldn't make a positive ID, so he was also reported as an Unknown Male.

Team R&B got word from a friend that there were three seals on shore at Kahe Pavillion. By the time they made their way over there were only two seals way up on shore, due to the big surf.
The female was the lovely Aukai RL12 who just weaned her Rabbit Island pup. She is looking very green.  The male who was with her was RG28 Lefty.
The lifeguard told them three seals had been there. Seems the two males got into a fight. The one that left he said had a "brand" on its body. Most likely an applied bleach, but no details on what it said.

They decided to head over to plains where the waves were slamming into a seal on shore. It was KG89 Huaka'i who still has a hook.
The beach was crowded and the waves were crazy strong coming up and over the the seal and up pass the lifeguard stand. Huakai was loving the waves hitting her, and actually moving her around at times. Finally she gave in and moved to higher ground.
Team R&B waited around hoping Lei Ola would arrive, but she didn't and they called it a day. An hour after leaving they got a call that RH48 Lei Ola hauled in by the cabins. It was too late to head back and deal with the traffic.
