02/11/2020 Tuesday (part 2) Lesley's Ka'ena Update

Before heading out to assess roads I went to check on RL98 Lina she was freshly tugged up in the Naupaka. Later in the day I went back, she was still there nice and dry.

On my way in I found RL74 Kami old out on Naupa's old stomping grounds - she was still there on my way out.

Out at the point R3CU was hauled out on Back Beach, there were no fresh trails so he may have overnighted.

I looked around the fields, Albatross chicks are everywhere. Perhaps because of the amount of rain we've had the last couple of days, the Parents are standing up and grooming their chicks.

Rain came by again so I had to go.    More tomorrow
