11/19/2016 DB's Dailies: Kawena@Rabbit Island, Buster@Sandy Beach, Benny@Paradise Cove, R8HE@Lagoon#4, KoOlina, RK36@Turtle Bay, Pohaku@CIP, RW02@Mokuleia

I hope your end of the galaxy was better than mine. Here in the SE quadrant it was cool, rainy & windy. All that making Rabbit Island observations very nearly impossible. Fortunately, a little hangin’ in there provide a look at Kawena’s N36 bleach at the left end of the island. Sadly, the camera couldn’t see it as well as I did, but that is often the case.

Posse member Carla called at 0928 with the report of somebody at the east end of Sandy Beach. When I called the Hotline at 0928 I was advised that the animal had already been reported and that a V38 tag had been reported. That would be my #3 son, Buster (RV08).

At 0500 a Team Billand text advised that Benny (RE74) was at Paradise Cove. They would report his departure at 0647.

At 0701 the Billands found R8HE at Lagoon#4, KoOlina.

At 1139 Diane Gabriel called from the Elbow, advising that she was with RK36 at Turtle Bay.

An afternoon email from Dr. Tom also showed RK36 at the Elbow.

Team Billand found a foraging animal at CIP at 1426. By 1455 they had confirmed the Pohaku (RO28) ID, doing 6 minute dives.

Lesley checked in at 1555 to report RW02 high on the beach, near the Lyman Estate, Mokuleia.
