11/1/2016 DB's Dailies: Kekoa@Rabbit Island, Right Spot & Kawena@Kaupo Beach Park (Cockroach Cove), R8HE@Tracks, Benny@Paradise Cove, Ka'ena@30Min, Lei Ola@50Min, Aukai&RL42@Ka'ena Point, Holokai@ Turtle Bay

Long time beachcomber posse member Pam (& Charles’ next door neighbor) called at 0700, advising of an animal on the beach at Kaupo Beach Park, or more specifically at “Cockroach Cove”, the area along the road where guys paddle out to surf. When I arrived at 0714 I confirmed the Right Spot (R016) ID, but right side NB, notched LHF, 98lb weakling , female belly, and old coat. I immediately notified Cianna at the Hotline. Right Spot would depart of her own volition at 1200. Thanks to Gayle & Barbara Fields. A “permanent resident” advised that she had arrived at 0400.

I was just finishing my Hanauma Bay check (0), when Pam called again advising that there was now another animal at Kaupo Beach Park, near Right Spot, and it had an N36 written on the side. When I arrived at 0824 I confirmed the Kawena (RH36) ID, but N36 bleach and H36/37 tags. 30 ft away from Right Spot. Per Gayle she would begin foraging in the area around the noon time frame. By 1330 or so she hadn’t been seen in a while so they called it a day.

On my first look at Rabbit Island at 0730 I found someone right of 2BS on Rabbit Island. When I got back at 0855 I confirmed the Kekoa (RK72) ID. He would be today’s only RI resident.

At 0816 Team Billand reported R8HE at Tracks. She would depart at 1027.

At 1303 the Billands checked in with the report of Benny (RE74) at Paradise Cove.

 At 1517 Barbara found Ka’ena (RO40) at 30 min.

Further along the west side KP trail, at 1534 She found Lei Ola (RH48). Lei Ola has been MIA from her Turtle Bay hangouts for two weeks. Barbara made biggy find there, making a bunch of theTurtle Bay gang very happy in deed !! Great news.... seems she's independent like her grandma, and her brother is a mama's boy LOL....

 At Ka’ena Point she found Aukai (RL12) & RL42.

Carola Johnston spent time with Holokai (RG60) at the Elbow, Turtle Bay.

Right Spot as seen from the road.... god I hate when they are visible like that.
