5/14/2016 DB's Dailies: Sadie&Pup,Kainoa@Rabbit Island, Kekoa@Lanai Lookout, Ka'ena,RW02,RIP&R8HY@Ka'ena Point, Pohaku@CIP

At 0640 I found Sadie&Pup(D#17)(RB12) in a swim session at the left end of the island. They would do two observed swim, and feed/snooze sessions today.

At 0840 I found Kainoa (RN04) 80 ft right of 3BS. That would prove to be the RI cast for today.

Diver posse member Paul Hasley called twice today with reports of animals seen during his Lanai Lookout dives. When his photos arrived I was shocked to see that he had , in fact seen two different animals. His 1st&3rd dives were apparently Kolohe (RW22). Awaiting Kolohe shots. He stated that he saw Kolohe’s right side natural bleach. His 2nd dive shows a confirmed Kekoa (RK72). Paul’s excelllent shots show Kekoa’s K72/73 tags. He was last seen by the Billands at Maili Point on 5-2-16. We’ve been stressin’ ever since. Kekoa is known to come to the east side on an irregularly , regular basis, so I’ve been on the lookout for him to no avail, until today. Thank you Paul...Ya’ Done Good !!
Speaking of Kolohe... Happy 8th Birthday to you !!!

Marilyn was trekkin’ solo to the End of the World today. She found Ka’ena Ka’ena (RO40), RW02 & R8HY at Ka’ena Point today.

Team Billand found a foraging Pohaku (RO28) off shore of CIP at 0730. She was still there packin’ it in on their afternoon check.

ValMail from Kauai late today brought word & photos of little RN30 who has returned to Kauai. He was seen here on 5-10-16 at Ka’ena Point, by Tony Q. Thanks Val !!

Thrilled to hear about Kekoa being reoorted in the water yesterday. I have been worried since he usually likes to rest on the west side almost every day. Thanks for the report and photos, those were nice underwater shots.

Glad Kekoa Alii RK72 has been seen HEALTHY, PLUMP, and ALIVE. Now I can move on and know, Kekoa is SAFE. You just never know these days...BIG RELIEF!!!

And what took him from the west side??????? Sweet Aukai, his new hot chick that he followed from Depots, MAY 2, 2016. And where is that little girl now??? She obviously dumped Kekoa. He He.

Good thing PH got the one shot with the tags, kekoa is very hard to ID.

I hope he lands on RI for DB to keep an eye out for him. That would be awesome!!! Maybe TODAY would be nice. Flippers crossed.
