At 0636 on my first look at Rabbit Island, the beach was bare. I assumed Sadie&Pup were in the water. When I got back at 0818 Sadie & Pup (D#29)(RB12) were snoozin’ at the water line at the left end of the beach. They would do 2 more observed swim session, with feed and snoozes afterward.
Posse members Tammy&Dave T., got out the family kayak and did a Rabbit Island paddle. They brought back a different perspective on Sadie & Pup. We were hoping for a sex but alas the kid was not cooperative.
At 0743 Lesley M., called with the report of Nihoa (R912) fronting the Lyman Mansion, Mokuleia.
At 0939 Team Billand reported Pohaku (RO28) doing 6 minute dives off shore of Campbell Industrial Park.
A late in the day check of Instagram brought a shot of what I believe to be Nani (RK60) on Moku Nui today, and unsettling shots of people just tad to close to what I believe to be Buster (RV08) at Diamond Head, judging by his left eye scar.
