5/20/2016 DB's Dailies: Sadie&Pup (#23), UM@Rabbit Island, Kaiwi@China Walls, Kolohe@Lanai Lookout, Pohaku@Makaha Cabanas, Kekoa@Maili Pt, R8HY&BG@Mokuleia

On my first look at Rabbit Island Sadie & Pup were in the water. There were no other visible animals.

When I got back to Makai Pier at 0830 I found Sadie&Pup for the first observed time, snoozin’ out on the left end rock flats, They would move from there to the beach at the left end at 0940 where they did a feed. They did 1 more water session and 2 more feeds through the day.

 Gayle called at 0952 with the report of Kaiwi (RK96) at China Walls.

 At 1113 an U/M hauled out to the rocks at Seal Rock Inlet. I was never able to ID this animal, though my dollar is on RM38 ????

 At 1355 I found Kolohe (RW22) snoozin’ on the Lanai Lookout Flats to the left of the lookout.

 At 0700 Team Billand advised that a Dana call had reported an animal at the Makaha Cabanas Condo. The would confirm the Pohaku (RO28). Thanks to Deb for the help.

 At 1150 the Billands found Kekoa (RK72) at Maili Point.

 Lesley M., wrote at 1355 advising that she had R8HY & BG (R303) near the Lyman Estate, Mokuleia.
