10-28-11 Team Billand

Ewa Girl RS00 @ Wind Sock
Great shot of her tracks and wallow. When I was going to the reef runway, I would often see lots of these, no seals but for sure evidence of someone being there.
Ewa Girls' "c" scar on the right side of her face
Ewa  Girl looking very healthy
Irma R010 @ Tracks... looking like she gained back her weight.
and close by 4DG Kermit
And here they are together and peaceful

I've seen Kermit alone here at this location, Irma here too with 2AW, but never here with KERMIT!!! I went back to see if had Benny out there, but, no one was home in the afternoon. Seeing both seals on the rocks, so high, smelling seal...makes me think they were there over night too. They are huge seals and a real treat to find. There are homeless camps there, pretty close by. I just hope when the homeless are home, they respect our seals, no one home at the time..at least I didnt see anyone.
Both seals looking pretty goofy and green, wonder, where will they molt together this year? White Plains?? They seem to be moving about the island alot. We'll continue hunting for this sweet couple..as DB says, THE DYNAMIC DUO. I just love them both..they keep us on our toes...NO BENNY YESTERDAY. Wonder if all three will show up at Plains today..we'll see.
