5/20/2010 DB Dailies

On my first look at Rabbit Island , at 0633 I found what would prove to be RIP, cruisin' up in the Morning Glory, 40 ft left of 1BS. He would move down to cool off, mid morning, and would depart at 1330, when the rising tide began to get to him.

When I got back to Makai Pier at 0835, I found that Duke had hauled out to the far left end of the beach. He would remain there all day.

Irma was toying with Team Billand today. They called at 0839 to say that she was foraging off Kermit's Reef, and several times appeared to be moving in the haul out, but she never did. Ultimately, they lost track of her.

New posse member John Reagan called the Billands at 1016 to report that 4DF was once again at Hau Bush.

At 1410 Team Billand reported Benny near Kermit's Reef. I've wondering what happened to that boy. He hadn't been seen since 4-22-10 at Ka'ena Point.

At 1540 Barbara called to say that they'd found Kermit near tower #2 at White Plains. He had apparently been there since around noon, and was cordoned off by the lifeguards, but nobody called that I know of. He would depart at 1754.

Tracy called this morning at 0728 with Lona news. She has apparently been on Maui for a while now. Tracy got shots from yesterday, near Lahaina. Hopefully, this means she is on schedule and will go to Molokai again this year to give birth, but as we all know..... only Lona knows ?????
