7-2-2013 DB's Dailies: Kolohe,Sadie&Kaiwi@RI, 2aw@EB, R5AY@Hauula, Irma@Waikiki

On my 2^nd look at Rabbit Island at 1021 I found Kolohe (RW22) and to my total shock, Sadie (RB12), together at the far left end of RI. Kolohe is newly back from his latest west side adventure. Sadie galumphed off on 4-24-13 when she weaned Kainoa, and has not be heard from since. That was 68 days ago. She should have done her post weaning molt around the 23^rd of June, and the fact that she was a bare , naked lady today, confirms that. Her coat hasn’t even begun to fill in yet. I’d sure love to know where this girl has been ????? Both remained the rest of the day.

　

At 1025 on a pan I found what would prove to be Kaiwi (RK96) at Rocky Right Beach, on RI. Though only partially visible, she would remain the rest of the day.

　

Ewa Beach posse member Toni Russ checked in at 0716 with the report of an animal at Access #185C. He photos confirmed the 2AW ID. The Billands confirmed that he was still there on their 1218 check.

　

Dera called at 0829 with the report of R5AY in Hauula.

　

She also mentioned an animal at Lifeguard stand 2E in Waikiki. Colleen and Karen Rohter responded and confirmed the Irma (R010) ID. Once again today, just as with her last Waikiki haul out, she departed at 0921. She seems to be hauling out very late at night, and then departing in the morning. What is going on in that woman’s mind.... OIK!!!
