5-14-2013 DB's Dailies: Kainoa@RI, Kaiwi&Kolohe@SC, Kermit&Buster@WSK, R5AY@Kualoa BP, BG@GR, Irma@IRQ

Gayle checked in at 0752 with the report of Kaiwi (RK96) at Spitting Cave. Kimo did an afternoon SC check, and Kaiwi was still there. The surprise of the day came when he found another animal there. When he got home he found he had a shot of Kolohe's (RW22) right side natural bleach. The boy is back from his adventure.

My initial looks at Rabbit Island were a bust. It would be 1040 before I would get a glimpse of Kainoa (RN04), beginning his haul out to the left end of RI. Once again he moved in behind the rocks, and was no fun at all for the rest of the day.
Team Billand called at 0904 with the report of Kermit (R012) at Wind Sock.

Dera checked in at 1059 to advise that Doniel had reported R5AY at Kualoa Beach Park.

At 1118 the Billands found BG (R303) at Guard Rails Beach, Maili. ID was by her N32 bleach.

At 1353 Dana called to advise of "N3", Irma (R010) at Iroquois Pt. Irma is the first critter to haul out to the "New & Improved" (and more expensive) IRQ. Thankfully, Vera was there to capture the occasion.

Team Billand called at 1725 to report the arrival of Buster (RV08) to join Kermit at Wind Sock.

Oh this spooky character is fun to mess with..If you look closely, he had a binocular also around his neck to id, BUSTER AND KERMIT.

I dont know how much long a life this VOLUNTEER may have, on a beach...but if he is there tomorrow...we're gonna play again.

Now buster and kermit...Kermit was spotted at the Jetty early morn, and we followed him all the way to windsock where he hauled up and stayed all day till....BUSTER showed up. It was 5:15pm we were having fun with the VOLUNTEER, when suddenly BUSTER showed up.

He took a while to come on shore with Kermit, trying to see who the seal was I guess. Then he galumphed up fast and furious to Kermit who was a sleep.

Kermit jumped up, but, there was no battle at all. It was sweet snuggles, nose to nose sniffing at each other. Really sweet.

Buster even put his head on Kermit, Kermit was nice to him...like a DAD or a very understanding UNCLE.

By 5:45pm Buster lead the way off into the water, Followed by Kermit. They met once again, nose to nose, a snuggle, and then...Buster went EAST and Kermit went STRAIGHT OUT TO SEA.

We put Volunteer in the bushes, hopefully he'll be out tomorrow..kind of a neat thing. IT can be posed all kind of ways...so fun to do.

BG was a lucky find per a friend who gave us a call excited of a seal in Maili. We took off, found her with the lady at her. Gave seal 101 all was good. BG remained, snoozing in a water hole by herself.

We got to leave early for a change, didnt see the sun set today. Nice to go home day light.

Seal ya tomorrow Buster, Kermit and DA VOLUNTEER. He. he. ha. ha. Chuckle, chuckle.

This spooky dude is so funny. Maybe they could put this out at RI to greet the special folks that land there with a sign that says "stay away, this could happen to you!"
Thanks for the giggles Barbara .

Hilarious picture! The new volunteer looks like the Jack Skellington character from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Diane
