Just as I arrived and we were changing shifts in front of the Keiki Lagoon, little girl decide to go for a swim.
A turn around the big reef on the left side & off she went TB direction over the "table" reefs. Tide was high & swell was kicking in.
Diane, Karen & I followed her. She tried to haul out but the waves just kept getting her, then the backwashes took their turn. We saw the little girl roll, tumble, be swept away in all directions. It was hurtful & funny to see - all part of the learning process for the 4 of us (3 humans & a seal). She took 20 long minutes to make her way back to the lagoon were she hauled out & napped for over an hour. When she went back in the water she played for more than 30 minutes in the right corner not daring venture to the outside. Saw her chewing several times.
Right Spot haul out at her spot on TB side. When I called DB he was watching "his" boys swim while I watched "my" girls sunbathe
Life is good !!
