RIP and Sadie where hangin' out together at the 3BS, while Kolohe was by himself at the right end of the beach, and R301 at the left.

4DJ, aka 721M, hauled out today at Makaha. Dana and Bob responded and the Billands checked in at 1208 to confirm the ID.

The Billands also reported Kermit on the west side of the Nimitz Beach jetty at 1422, and 2AW at Tracks at 1615. Aloha, DB

It was grand to see old 4DJ hanging out at Makaha Surfside. Dana and Bob done good in signing off the old dude. I appreciate your history on 4DJ,it's important to know all about old seals and actually all seals. We met 4DJ out at WHite Plains near the fence. We rarely see this grandpa, so any time he is around is a real honor. I couldnt stay long that day and we had just gotten off the boat at the harbor, rushed down to see who was out at Surfside. So glad we made it,as we all know, these seals suffer each day with people, dogs, nets etc. So any seal on shore is a treasure...4DJ was a bonus, a real treat!! He looked very comfortable with his signed off home. Good JOB!!!!
