April 12, 2019 (part 2) Lesley's Ka'ena Update

Went out today and enjoyed the windy blustery morning.

I had a nice surprise finding little RK40 "Napua" overnighted @ Alau Cove. It's the first time she is seen since her de-hooking.
She has kermit eyes and is looking healthy. No sign of molting.

At the point, in the Main Pool RW02 "PVKauai" was on the center reef. As I got down to the beach he moved into the water to do his morning business. To be downwind from that made a couple of hikers and myself move in another direction 😉
Soon a little bopping head came around towards the outside pool, left, came back, left again, we could tell it was sniffing the wind on the down side of "PVKauai". It was little RJ58 "Kaimana" she disappeared and I didn't see her again while out there.  More tomorrow 🌺
